There are still men with crazy ideas with hands on very dangerous weaponry, nature worldwide is being treated like a piece of crap, global economy is in a crisis, there are 1.5 billions of people without basic needs et cetera.

People thief, steal, murder, fight, argue, they are lazy, cowardly, selfish, egoistic, most of them care about money at first and all other things maybe later. Tolerance is an anachronism, we'd rather shouldn't talk about respect to the old folks or how the current euro-american social system is definitely NOT-user friendly to new young families and education in general.

The list could go on, but my suggestion today is to have a different look at the things.

Where are We?
Imagine you lived one thousand years ago. If you weren't a king or a high nobleman, your level of living would be slightly different from today's average in the western society. I am sure that even persons immune to sarcasm like Dr. Sheldon Cooper are aware what does the word "slightly" means in this context.

So, what do we have today? Electricity, telephones, mass transport. Hell, you can name any technological advancement you want. It may seem pretty common, but the fact is it's not. It is a topic of many sci-fi or fantasy movies, how persons from different eras mix up together in a comic movie.

Life is Great!
Despite all the hard tasks ahead of us, let's be clear - we have a great life. Or better said, we have great possibilities how to live our lives and even contribute to the world. It's not like someone owes our lives, we can't be killed if our master is in a bad mood, and above all, it's more usual to die because of a natural cause and not by sword.

Take a deep breath and enjoy the modern age, it's going to get better and better - if we want to.

Vastness of the Universe

At first I must warn you. If you are afraid of long journeys, read no further. Because this time, we are going to take our minds and unleash them on a big playground.

Universe is infinite. That's a term you've probably heard in school or somewhere else and people in general just accept it as a common fact. I stress the world accept - in this article, we will try to understand it, not just take it as it lies.

Curious People, Raise Your Hands!
Let's begin with an example. Some of you might be familiar with the TV series Stargate Universe. Basically, a bunch of people get stuck on a very old spaceship with no way of getting back home. The only thing they can do is to explore.

Ok, no big deal and perhaps not so original either. It's just in a TV you might say. I agree. But think this through - In our hearts, we are all explorers. Curiosity and exploration, ingeniuty and determination, these qualities have pulled mankind forward from caves to the state of civilization we are now.

Imagine you could leave the planet Earth, pick a random spot in the universe and begin exploring. Hundreds of billions stars, many of them have planets, on any of those planets could evolve a life similar to ours. Seriously, wouldn't you be interested in knowing if we are alone in an infinite space?

Night Sky Is... Humbling
Let me give you a piece of advice. When it's summer and the sky is clear, go outside after the night covers your hemisphere and look up. You will be able to see many stars. Do you realize what a star is? To keep it simple, any star is a very, very powerful thing, capable of miraculous gifts of life or destruction beyond anything humans have ever achieved.

Each of these stars could swallow the entire mankind in a blink of an eye. No Bill Gates, no Mahatma Gandhi, no homeless from Belgium, no just born infant could stop it. In one second there could be planet Earth as it is now, alive, flourishing, full of conscious, intelligent beings, animal and plant life... Gone.

What Went Wrong?
In face of these facts and thoughts, can you tell me why the hell are we facing such stupid problems? Famine, not enough water, not enough education and conscious, ruthless hunt for profit, smoking, intolerance, religious or atheistic fanaticism, selfish destruction of our surroundings and many, many others...?

Come on, there is an infinite Universe waiting for us to be explored. New resources, new worlds, new stars, new lifeforms, damn, it's an entirely new age! Don't tell me it's impossible and Utopia to go to space - that's bullshit.

Why? Because everything is possible, the word "impossible" was invented by people not determined enough to achieve their goals.

And My Point Is...
Stop arguing with your neighboor about who has a better grasscutter. Everyone, please, let's grow up and start performing the task that we are really best at - Exploring.

Can You Admit You May Be Wrong?

Let's begin with a simple question - what is the most important quality out there? Well, I might be wrong in describing this task as "simple". Each of you can have a different opinion; is it love? Or perhaps peace? What about respect or humour? There are indeed more than enough candidates. Today, we are going to talk about self-reflection.

"What a Dumbass"
In my country there is a saying: "Nothing is worse than running into a dumbass". Obviously, there is a major catch. Only a handful of people are willing to admit that they might be the worse partner in this meeting, not the other way around. Seriously, how many times in your life have you walked away from a discussion or with thoughts like "Oh my, I hope my stupidity didn't annoy him/her too much"?

There are so many things we can be wrong about that compiling a full list could probably take my whole life. I'm not planning to do so, let's name only a few topics:

Religion.
Origin of the Universe.
How did your neighboor get so freaking hot girlfriend.
Did Atlantis exist?

Et cetera.

Where's the Truth
It's hard to say. If we don't stick to a topic with solid and general proofs like science, truth itself is often deformed and affected by personal opinions and views of the world. For example, is it true that 2+2 = 4? No doubt.

Here's another one: is it true that Megan Fox is a hot model? She is a supermodel, so the answer is probably yes, but I'd bet $10 of my father's money that there are quite a few poeple who would say she sucks.

Last question I'm about to ask you - is it true that we are the only intelligent life form in the Universe? Woops. It's a dead end. There is no evidence, no proof, only stories and wishes. On this day, 11th March 2010, no person on Earth can declare this statement either true or false. We can argue all we want, we can point fingers all we want, but in the end, somebody will be inevitably wrong.

Hate is for... Nothing!
To be honest, I am freaking sick of people who based their lifes on several facts and they are not willing to change that at any costs. Put forth all the evidence you can, they'll just deny it and tell their own story again and again. There is another saying: "You must be man enough to admit a mistake."

Do not hesitate to explore the world around you. There is so many information that even if someone dedicated his entire lifetime to learning, he'd not covered it all. You can not avoid being wrong many times in your life. This is a fact, equal to the one that everyone must die.

Take a step back and give it a thought. Having an open mind is a great asset to the society as a whole, because with open mind, there is progress; with progress, there is evolution and to tell you the truth, evolution is all that life is about. Would you like to be stuck in the same hut all your life, get up early in the morning and work the whole day on a field for someone who physically owns your life? No?

My point.

George Orwell's 1984: Not Fiction After All?

I am not going to talk about the ingenious writer George Orwell, you can look him up on the Wikipedia if you want to learn something about him. Purpose of this post is to investigate an intriguing analogy to the world today.

At first, let's briefly describe what is 1984 about.

Novel Summary
As the name suggests, its roughly the year 1984. World is split into three great nations - Oceania, Euroasia and Eastasia. These countries wage war against each other and because of this war, there is a major lack of supplies and living level in general is very poor.

Winston Smith, a member of the so called Outer Party in Oceania, takes part in the most dictatorial, unfree and absurd oppresion that you can imagine. Winston himself works at the Ministry of Truth, whose job is to consistently adapt and alter every record of history in order to correct wrong predictions from the past. Our major figure eventually gets fed up, finds a secret love, gets cought, beaten, persuaded and he is shot.

Implications
I am sure that none of you who haven't read the book and also a very few of those who did are unable to realize and comprehend the true horror of the picture described in this novel. Imagine a world where freedom doesn't exist. Your every step is watched, your level of living is horrible, everyone is pushed hard towards Big Brother's propaganda and if you step out of line, you are immediately brought to "Justice" by the feared Ideopolice.

You can't do anything. The world around has gone crazy and if you don't go crazy with them, you shall be punished for it. Only one thing remains - your head, your brain, your thoughts. Would you like to find a boy/girlfriend that you like? Take him/her out for a walk in a sunny day to the forest, make love under the trees, invite your partner to a dinner, just enjoy yourselves?

On a different but not unrelated topic, do you want to choose your proffesion, have the possibility to move freely, spend your money as you like...

To sum up: Do you like freedom?

Well, you'd say that freedom is a common aspect in our lives, so common that we are beginning to forget how it would be if we hadn't it. Let me give you a little heads up:

North Korea is an opposite of freedom.
China still shoots its political opponents.
United States of America passed the Patriot Act.
Women in Islamic countries are denied basic human rights.

Just these four cases include approximately 2,5 billions people.

Every third person on our planet is not as free as he/she should be.

Without freedom, there is no life. I can only suggest to read the novel and realize what's at stake these days. Stand up and call for freedom before it's too late.

You're Not Alone

Planet Earth. What is hidden beneath those two words? Well, obviously 7 billions of human beings. But what's often missing is the element of various life forms other than ourselves. Animals, insects, flowers or trees; from the giant elephant to the smallest cellular protozoans, all of these components merge into a unique puzzle called Life.

Look Around You
Humans conquered this bunch of rock, water and vegetation called planet thanks to one fundamental advantage they hold against the other beings - intelligence. There's a vital fact to realize though. We might be the best nature has offered so far, but forces of the nature must not be neglected.

What can man do against a hurricane? Would you be able to survive if there was another cold age? Go outside and try to challenge Sahara, fight your way through raining forests in Amazonia or you could just try to stop a tornado from ripping your home apart. Do you get what I mean? It is often ignored that we are still very dependent on our surroundings, regardless of our skill to adapt it.

Other Beings than Us
Have you ever met a lion, the king of animals? Have you witnessed his fierce look, tried how sharp his teeth are, how strong and fast he is? I doubt that you did, it's a tall story that you'd be reading this if you have. It's not just about the lion. There are lots of natural hunters who wouldn't have any problem in defeating human in a face to face combat, such as tiger, cheetah, panther, leopard and the list could go on.

We shouldn't take a lot of things for granted. When you go for a walk to the forest and you accidently step on ten ants, you'd probably consider it as no big deal. The fact is that you just "murdered" ten very organized and skillful beings who minded their own business. Make no mistake, this is no crazy and money targeted ecologic propaganda, it's about respect.

Respect Doesn't Hurt
Humans are the most evolved, hence they're the most valuable. No doubt about it, it's a common sense to choose one human over ten ants. But consider this: isn't there some sort of association between disregarding nature and other humans? I'll give you a hand - of course it is.

It starts with little things, like always. You walk across a field and a piece of paper fall from your pocket. You let it go, thinking that it's small and the field is big. That's true. On the other hand, the nature being a giant waste bin capable of magically vaporizing all of the less attractive by-products of our culture is not true at all.

Treat nature with respect. It will be here forever while you will be gone in a century or so. Is it so hard to carefully pick the lady-bug and let it fly out of the window rather than simply smash it? Or to take the remainings of your lunch that would end in the toilet anyway and use them to feed the roaming cat you know is wandering around? These actions take mere minutes.

New Perspective
How can people hit it off when they tend to forget where did they come from? We are all products of nature. I'm not talking any spiritual crap, it's a simple fact. Throwing out plastic bottles, which will decompose for 500,000 years, is like you would kick your mother in the ass with a comment "Hey, it doesn't matter, you're big anyway!".

Next time you'll think you owe the world or you are never wrong, imagine yourself staying naked against a hungry cheetah. Respecting other life forms is the first step towards respecting each other. I'm not a fan of vegetarianism, just kill only when you really have to.

Planet Earth is not only ours. We have been given the opportunity to govern it, but certain measures are in place in case we would misuse this responsibility. There are only several things we can't influence, Power of Nature is among them. Realizing what's beyond our control is the key to open our minds and recognizing what we can influence.

Leader or Loser?

People take all shapes and sizes. They are out there in various colors; nobody can find out how many types of personalities exist. If you ask for one distinctive variance, one key aspect of everyone's individuality; if you are interested what is most dividing, your answer is very simple - it matters not whether you are small or tall, it matters if you are a leader or a loser.

Quality Inside You
Jedi Knights from the Star Wars world used to "feel the Force". I would like to see all mankind to feel it's Force. This time it wouldn't have anything to do with midichlorians. It's a harsh way to say it, but the world today is full of losers. It it full of people who don't realize their potential and how can they influence the world.

Their reasons may differ; these might be religious, financial, social or whatever you fancy. There is one only question: Who Are You? Drop the act, drop what you've been told when you were little, forget all the stuff that's been forced upon your head and just think for a moment who you really are.

Earning The Respect
No doubt each of you have met at least one real leader. These people are very hard to miss. When leaders speak, all of the others listen. When leaders have an idea, it's always taken into consideration. Such leaders can get their hands on real power, because they can really influence people.

Some of them regretfully misuse this influence. Adolf Hitler, Josif Stalin and other monstrous dictators gave the world a perfect example how is it done the wrong way. It's been not long ago, only several decades, yet people tend to forget. Some of us don't realize which horrors were commited by Nazi and communists, how many people suffered and died.

To prove that there are good people, Mahatma Gandhi or Henry David Thoreau stepped forward and gave a shining example how we should live. Though these man might be considered as good, their work is entirely useless. It will continue to be until we realize that what they was talking about is real. It is possible to be nice, it is possible to love and it is possible not to use violence.

Use Your Power
We live through our lives in order to survive them. 90% of the consumer society today consists of people who with more or less luck earn scraps of paper called money and we live through them to see another sunrise. What is the point in living happy 15-20 years of childhood and then spend the rest of your lifetime like a slave? Is there any at all? Of course not, if you look from this angle.

There is another angle though. It is composed of another society, it is constructed from strong individuals. These individuals are conscious, peaceful, persistent, in fact they are us in the future. How can I say that? It is impossible for our society to continue at the current pace. Morality, reason, justice, they all went for a long holiday.

Wake Up or Die in Vain
It is about time you realize what is going on. Don't be a slave, you don't have to. Be a man or a woman. Silence the voices telling you otherwise, they fail to see the truth. Become a leader. It is not hard, don't be afraid. You just have to live your life at the fullest. Make no mistake, I'm not talking about drinking your ass off, trying drugs, buying big cars or having tons of sex partners, not at all.

I'm telling you a story of another sunrise, but this one shall be different. Unlike all the others before, this will mark the new beginning. An era of losers will be gone; an era of leaders will be brought upon. Do you know how vast the universe is?

Imagine number 10. Now imagine number 1000. Now imagine one billion. Is it hard? Universe is billion times harder to imagine. It is so vast that we may seem insignificant, but that's a lie. The truth is, each of us can make a difference, each of us can pull the world forward, if he wants to.

So, who do you want to be?

Freedom of Will

Do you know what is the most important quality in your life? Do you know which aspect of your life shouldn't be missing from your very childhood? Do you know which attribute was in opposite of the communist regimes in Central and Eastern Europe? Yes, it was Freedom.

Natural Aspect
People are intelligent beings. They can analyze world around them through reason and logical implications. Animals make decisions based on their instincts and reflexes. We, humans, have one more characteristic - intellect. Unfortunately, sometimes our intelligence is fought by stupidity and hunger for power.

When people are forced to do something they do not like, their mood and enthusiasm are going down. Rapidly. I'm sure almost none of you can imagine what it is like. You could be banned from university, because your father wasn't a common moron. You could not travel wherever you wanted. You could not do anything that wasn't allowed by the regime.

Power of Freedom
We should realize that only our own decisions can make us happy. How many of you like the things you don't want to do? And quite an opposite question: How many of you like the things you want to do? It may seem apparent, but think about your current lives.

I am willing to bet $10 of my brother that most of you will not be satisfied. You may have the freedom to choose whatever occupation you want, that's fine. But let's approach it in an different angle. Does it really matter what job you have, if it still means that you have to spend more time working than with your family?

Mankind was always pulled forward by great minds which didn't have to take care about everyday banalities. Tell me, how many people don't have to worry how will their bills get paid this month? Only a fraction of our population.

Trap of the 21st Century
Imagine you don't have to work again, ever. All of your expenses, no matter how high, would be covered from a magic box. What would you do? Travel around the world? Buy a big car, nice house, fulfill your materialistic dreams? Ok, it could take like 5 years to do that. What would you do after?

Western society today is called consumer. It is based on consumption. Supposedly, if you have any spare time or money, you should feast it away. Most people do it this way, because they work hard all the time and they think they deserve some fun in return.

Sit Down and Think
Mankind went astray in his development yet again. 20 years after defeating the greatest enemy of freedom, communism, we find ourselves trapped in another problem: money obssesion. It is ridicoulous, really: why is there a social system where the majority of people is unhappy with their lives? Are you happy to live to work to live?

If the answer is yes, so be it. If the answer is no, do something about it. Instead of sitting on your hands, use the power of your mind. Talk to others, try to persuade them. Not by force, but by your personal strength. Do you think you are not strong enough? Why? Who told you that? Others? What can they know?

One last thought before I say good bye for now: If there is no freedom, there is no effort. Think about it. Use your intelligence or stay a dummy and blunt and live for nothing, only for what others tell you.

Destiny Calls You... or Not

Man is born. He comes to the world as a little child, screaming and totally dependent on his mother. Man grows up and learns things about the world. Man finds a mate, has his own children, becomes old and dies. Some are more successful than others. Why is that exactly?

Power of Choice
Let's get something straight. There is only one thing constant in our lives - choices. It doesn't matter if the choice is about having an apple/orange for a snack or which job you should choose. What matters most is your life experience, because the better the experience is, the better choices you will make.

Difference between People
Compare a random homeless gentleman from Hungary and Mr. Mohandas Gandhi. I guess we can all agree that there's a difference between them. But we may argue which one is the biggest. Maybe Gandhi is famous and the homeless isn't? Or perhaps Gandhi supported peace and non-violence and the homeless doesn't care if it's war or peace? No my friends, the major contrast lies elsewhere.

Leadership Skill...
is the answer we're looking for. The power to inspire people, the power to make people do as the leader wants, the power of persuasion and rhetoric. Remember History lessons from school? There were two kind of leaders: those who inherited power and those who acquired it through skill. Logic implies the latter were more successful, because they often had to put a great effort in their campaign, such as Napoleon Bonaparte.

Rule Well or...
Imagine you are a king and you rule 5 millions subjects. You have to make every key decision that affects their lives and you have to ensure they are happy, otherwise they won't pay taxes and they could overthrow you. That's not easy, wouldn't you agree?

Now, imagine what Adolf Hitler did with the power and his leadership skills. Instead of making Germany a peaceful superpower, he started a war that cost 60 millions lives. You see, while we can distinguish people with and without leadership skills, there is one, even more important attribute - whether the leader works for himself or if he works for the people.

What Is Destiny about?
Man always feared what he didn't understand. All of that supernatural gibberish, including destiny, comes from this fear. There is no "God has plans for all of us", there is no "What goes around, comes around", there is no "if you are good, you'll go to heaven; if you are bad, you'll go to hell".

Understand this: Man controls his action and thus "his destiny", nothing else. Keep that in mind when you'll face a decision that could alter your life forever. Use your reason and your own skills, don't wait for anybody else to make the decisions for you.

People who do what others tell them to waste their lives and I feel really sad about them. Perhaps so should you...

What Makes Our Lives Better?

The year was 4000 B.C. A new culture arose between rivers Euphratis and Tigris in the Near East, the Sumerians. They founded cities, they built irrigation canals, they invented some sort of handwriting.
Sumerians used their intelligence to better their lives instead of doing donkey-work for the whole time.

Say Hi to Technology
Do you want to know what is behind the rapid growth of average level of living? The answer is plain enough - technology. Take a walk in your home. Almost everything you lay your eyes upon is a result of technical progress; computer, television, light, washing machine.

For example the washing machine. For thousands of years women faced a serious problem - how to keep the clothes clean and fragrant with only a small effort. Generations of women were forced to spend hours by rivers or manual washers. Today, thanks to technology, hours are reduced to mere minutes.

Development of Mankind
The better the technology is, the better is our understanding of the world around us. People in primeval times feared a storm, because they didn't comprehend it. Their imagination tortured them with fighting gods or the end of the world. I think it would be much harder to find a man or a women in Europe today, who thought that storm is a rage of gods...

There is of course another, very significant aspect behind technical progress. In fact, any kind of advancement would be impossible without this element. Wondering what it is?

Science is The Key
Oh yes, sad but true. It is the scientific comprehension that enabled the rapid development through last decades. Brilliant minds often repell general public by their looks and way of life. Ingenious scientist are usually presented as villains who are trying to enslave the world, like Doctor Frankenstein.

That's not true. Unfortunately, science requires an effort of mind. Ask yourselves, whether "effort of mind" is popular in the consumer society. Any ideas? Yep, that's it - the answer is no. It definitely isn't in fashion. Quite the opposite, the motto today is "enjoy today, think tomorrow!"

What Does the Future Hold?
We should understand one thing. The more advanced our society will become, the less time we'll have to spend to ensure our survival. There is a common problem: If a new machine is invented, it "steals" work. In other words, it takes the oppurtinity from a workman to make money and thus not starve to death.

Usually, the workman meets the new machine with repulsion. He enteres labor union and demands his work back. He is oblivious to the fact he harms the whole society by blocking our development, but on the other hand, he doesn't have much choice. If there was a social order, where majority of people don't need to work like donkeys for their whole life, everyone would benefit from it.

Is that even possible? That's up to each of us.

No Toleration, No Fun

Imagine you are walking on the street and a complete stranger hits you in the face. I suppose you would feel offended, it might hurt and you would be thinking why he behaved in such an agressive way. The fact is, this stranger wasn't tolerant, because he placed his fist in the same place where your face was.

Our rights
Human society needs some sort of organization to prevent anarchy. Democracy assures quite a lot of rights for every single person, never mind if you are a homeless or a president. There are written laws and unwritten codes. Those codes are not spoken of and they are taught from the very childhood; it includes saying thank you, letting a disabled lady to have a seat in a mass transport or being polite in general.

What if he doesn't agree with me?
We can choose numerous options and we have to make large number of decisions how are we going to live our lives. The more modern the world is, the more difficult these decisions are. Also, the possibility of making an error grows. Everybody makes mistakes, but we can distinguish smart people from dumb easily. Smart people learn from their mistakes.

You see, my head is unique in the world. It stores my personality, my point of view on the world, my opinions. It had its own chance to make such thoughts and so all of yours heads had a similar chance. If by chance some of you didn't agree with me in any way, I wouldn't dismiss it as a nonsense, I wouldn't say that I'm simply right and I definitely wouldn't claim that God says so and so it is true.

Change of opinion
Do you ask how to change somebody's mind then? The only correct way how to change opinion of others is through peaceful debate; putting forward thoughts, proofs or results of critical thinking. In other words, by the exchange of views. It should be self-evident and it is alarming how is this way being overlooked these days.

Violence is outdated
Even though we crossed into new millenia, we are still carrying old habits with us. Such as using violence and weapons to grab more power or to "persuade" somebody your way. That is ridiculous. Imagine that a man with a gun comes into your house, he would point the gun on your head and he would demanded you to say: "Fox Megan is the best top model out there".

Let's say you succumb and you say what he wants. The man than happily leaves, because he thinks he has changed your point of view on this matter. Which is hardly right, am I correct? The moment he left the house, you would call the police and get back to your original opinion that e.g. Cindy Crawford is way prettier.

Do you get it?
If you think this example is absurd, roughly the same thing is happening on a daily basis in Israel. Bunch of people came and claimed already taken land as their own. It was wrong to do so, it was wrong that original inhabitants answered by rockets and it was wrong the Israeli people used brutal force as well.

If you want somebody to see things your way, you must respect him first. Otherwise, you may join Sysifos at his endless work and it might even be more productive.

Sex as a method of payment

We live in the 21st century. It is clear that the current state of our society is the most advanced ever. An average individual knows much more than he knew 200 years ago, not to mention his level of living.

Sex
I'm sure that all of you know what sex is. Basically, two people like each other and to display their feelings, they get naked and make each other happy by stimulating intimate parts of their bodies. Of course, sex is also necessary for making children.

Sex today
Consumer society has one significant problem. It concentrates on pleasure and it tries to reject, or even deny any sort of suffering, responsibility or consciousness. It is like: "Come on man, life is one happy dream, enjoy it when you can!"

It is obvious that sex is pleasant. But according to the voice of this social order, it has changed from: "I love and I want to show it by the most intimate possible" to: "Hey baby, let's f**k, because it's nice and IN!"

Forget about money
Stupid and pretty girls often make carrier easier than clever and ugly girls. Why? Because these girls don't mind unzipping the trousers of their boss/ teacher/ whoever else in order to move forward.

The sad part is those bosses/ teachers/ nasty pigs in general often don't mind their trouser being unzipped, because they're thinking: "What the hell, she's pretty, it's pleasant, my wife won't find out and we'll both get what we want!"

Give me a break
Women today are often turned into regular bitches, regardless of whether it is their profession or not. Hell, the whole porn industry and the very idea of sex for money is disgusting. Don't give me wrong, I watch porn too, but the more porn is out there, the less dignity people have, it's simple equation.

But porn or joyhouses are not the major issue, because at least people working in these areas aren't afraid to say it out loud.

No bitches, please!
Main problem is that up to 70% of women today consider sex as a weapon, method of payment, method of generating money and other wrong opinions.

Wake up, sex really is only the most private way to show love, nothing more. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a serious help with his brain functions.

Humans today

Homo sapiens sapiens. That is the name of the most evolved species on our planet. Oops, stop! Are we really so dominant?

A test
Throw a human and a tiger into the wild. Who is more likely to survive? The human perhaps? I hardly think so. We are weak, slow and fragile. In a battle face to face without any tools, even with some "smaller predator" like wolf, human being would likely lose this fight.

What about the tiger? He is strong, quick and merciless. He is feared among other species and nobody dares to cross his path. So, tell me - why don't the tigers rule our planet?

Intelligence...
is the answer. We won the fight, we transformed the planet, we defeated every other species - all of that thanks to our intellect. Look around you today! We can build large cities, we can fly, we have a better understanding of the world around us. Compare the level of living 400 years ago and today. Amazing difference, isn't it?

There's always a catch
What is really going on in the world today? Sport stars get loads of money while poor children suffer from hunger. People are very interested in the lives of the so called celebrities instead of living their own lives. There are wars, humans turn against each other, we are often worse than those animals, because at least their fight is fair.

What the hell?
If intelligence is the key that helped us to rise above animals, why don't we use it today? Why masses of people blindly follow what they are told in mass media? Our intellect should prove based on reason that love, peace and truth are better than hate, war and lie. Yet we still behave wrong. Why?

Strength of the society
My friends! Now is the time all of us should realize our own reason. I do not care what others say, I do good things regardless. I don't care whether black shirts are in fashion or not, I wear them anyway. Do not let the others influence you so much that you would lose your own will, your own strength, your own self discipline.

Galileo Galilei
this Italian man, Father of modern science, said 350 years ago:
It is a formed habit that it is better to be wrong with others than alone tell the truth.

Humans today
We stay on a crossroad. One way leads to doom, that's where the society is headed now; by continuing hunt for profit and selfishness. But there is another way, the good one.

This way is composed of respect, toleration, critical thinking, reason, self-discipline, love and humour. Use these seven attributes and the world will change considerably.
