Humans today

Homo sapiens sapiens. That is the name of the most evolved species on our planet. Oops, stop! Are we really so dominant?

A test
Throw a human and a tiger into the wild. Who is more likely to survive? The human perhaps? I hardly think so. We are weak, slow and fragile. In a battle face to face without any tools, even with some "smaller predator" like wolf, human being would likely lose this fight.

What about the tiger? He is strong, quick and merciless. He is feared among other species and nobody dares to cross his path. So, tell me - why don't the tigers rule our planet?

Intelligence...
is the answer. We won the fight, we transformed the planet, we defeated every other species - all of that thanks to our intellect. Look around you today! We can build large cities, we can fly, we have a better understanding of the world around us. Compare the level of living 400 years ago and today. Amazing difference, isn't it?

There's always a catch
What is really going on in the world today? Sport stars get loads of money while poor children suffer from hunger. People are very interested in the lives of the so called celebrities instead of living their own lives. There are wars, humans turn against each other, we are often worse than those animals, because at least their fight is fair.

What the hell?
If intelligence is the key that helped us to rise above animals, why don't we use it today? Why masses of people blindly follow what they are told in mass media? Our intellect should prove based on reason that love, peace and truth are better than hate, war and lie. Yet we still behave wrong. Why?

Strength of the society
My friends! Now is the time all of us should realize our own reason. I do not care what others say, I do good things regardless. I don't care whether black shirts are in fashion or not, I wear them anyway. Do not let the others influence you so much that you would lose your own will, your own strength, your own self discipline.

Galileo Galilei
this Italian man, Father of modern science, said 350 years ago:
It is a formed habit that it is better to be wrong with others than alone tell the truth.

Humans today
We stay on a crossroad. One way leads to doom, that's where the society is headed now; by continuing hunt for profit and selfishness. But there is another way, the good one.

This way is composed of respect, toleration, critical thinking, reason, self-discipline, love and humour. Use these seven attributes and the world will change considerably.
